Sanaz has always been passionate about teaching since an early age. She started tutoring math and physics as early as 17 years old at her local community college and her passion for helping others master math and the sciences grew from there. She earned her Masters in Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University in 2007 and has since combined her skills in engineering and her passion for education with her tutoring business founded in 2011.

Sanaz’s past experiences as science teacher for Whiz Kids in Boston, MA, a math championship Coach at St. Paul’s Academy in Bellingham, WA and most recently her position as a middle school math teacher at Willows Preparatory School in Redmond make her experienced in both helping students build their science mathematical foundation as well as challenging them in statewide competitions and stretching their capabilities further than what is required by State Standards.

She is currently earning her teaching certificate through an alternative routes program at City U Seattle and is teaching High School Algebra II, Algebra II Honors, and AP Calculus this year. Her energy, passion, and patience make her the perfect tutor. She has won the distinction of Best Teaching Fellow of the Year Award at Boston University in 2005 for teaching a Solid Biomechanics course in the College of Engineering, and exemplifying her commitment to teaching excellence.

Her students always have wonderful things to say about her and you can read some of her testimonials here: Testimonials and Google Testimonials.
